Steve Lewis Herman was born in Washington DC and grew up in Potomac, MD. Over the years,
he was exposed to many forms of art and was influenced by his Aunt and Grandmother, both of whom were artists. He began his art career at 3 years old using mixed media (apple sauce, olive juice, crayons and finger nail polish) on freshly painted dry wall. Steve also loved taking things apart and reassembling
them in interesting, non-functional ways, much like his father.
He loved music and learned guitar and to this day, he is a natural dancer
and loves rhythm. Later in life, Mr. Herman quickly adapted to the new computer technology and he now lives in New York City where he enjoys his Vespa, Zootr scooter and anything else that has wheels.
Steve is looking at gaining gallery experience and involvement in the art community. He sees himself as part of a large group of artists who work together as a whole while improving the art that is so important to society.

This web site is my latest attempt at building an e-commerce website. I am the designer, artist, copywriter, web master and production geek rolled into one. Scary. :-)
I want to entice a passerby into my site and to enjoy the experience of viewing my work. This is a real challenge for me to accomplish but I constantly improving the building process. An even larger challenge is writing the image descriptions and content while also embedding keywords in a tasteful manner. No excuses but please do excuse some horrendous (but temporary) writing. :-)
I am open to swap reciprocity links with websites that are related to mine in one way or another. Other artists, art stores, galleries, lawyers, etc. Feel free to contact me concerning this or for suggestions concerning my site. :-) :-)
