I enjoy taking my images into photoshop to do color and textural explorations because it allows me to work in a spontaneous manner, resulting in some interesting effects. Morning Flora is a good example of this. The original 'Souvenir de la Malmaison' rose photo was beautiful but by digital experimentation, I was able to put emphasis on the flower's inner light. The pure, refreshed colors reminded me of morning, so I named it that accordingly.
